Right in the heart of the ski fun

Do you love variety and enjoy exploring a new ski area every day? Then Edelmanns Villa & Suites is the right choice for you. Our local mountain Rosskogel is
already waiting for you.

Just a 5-minute drive separates your accommodation from the valley station of the popular family ski area at Rangger Köpfl. The child-friendly Muttereralm ski area, with its beautiful forest runs, and the Olympiaregion Seefeld, offering a variety of slopes, are also just a few minutes away. While intermediate and advanced skiers enjoy the Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf ski areas, the little ones learn the basics at the Birkenlift.

In two more Olympic ski areas, the ski boot buckles click after just 15 minutes of skiing: the snow-reliable Axamer Lizum (also known as the "white Dachl") and Innsbruck’s home mountain, the Patscherkofel, with its distinctive rounded summit, have everything that young and old, piste enthusiasts and freestylers could wish for. A little further to the southeast, the small, unspoilt Glungezer ski area towers above with its 15 km long valley run.

Prime location

It only takes you 25 minutes to reach Kühtai, Austria’s highest ski resort at over 2,000 metres above sea level. The offer appeals to families, freeriders and ski tourers alike. The highlight for freestyle skiers is the KPark with Austria’s only superpipe, where the freestyle athletes of the ÖSV team regularly train.

The year-round ski area of the Stubai Glacier, incidentally Austria’s largest glacier ski area, is just under 40 minutes away. Beneath the ski slopes, which extend up to a breathtaking 3,200 metres, lies a fascinating ice cave that adventure seekers can explore on a guided tour. Halfway to the glacier is the family-friendly and varied ski centre SCHLICK 2000 (approx. 20 minutes).

Edelmann’s tip for romantic night skiing and unforgettable tobogganing evenings: visit the Skiarena Bergeralm in the Wipptal valley south of Innsbruck. Peaceful and enchanting by day, but also in the evening, when one of the region’s most beautiful toboggan runs and the valley descent are illuminated against the night-time mountain backdrop.
